Mark your calendar – the ALTERNATIVE STAFFING ALLIANCE 2014 CONFERENCE will be in Atlanta Oct. 1-3! Alternative staffing organizations from around the country will come together for three days of workshops, tours, ridealongs, networking opportunities and more in Atlanta’s midtown neighborhood. This year’s conference is co-hosted by First Step Staffing. First Step helps people experiencing homelessness to find temporary jobs that lead to permanent employment.
As you may remember, DePaul Industries was thrilled to co-host the Alternative Staffing Alliance’s 2013 Conference in Portland last September. Revisit our recaps of Day One, Day Two and Day Three for a general idea of the types of sessions offered and benefits of attending.
On the docket so far for this year’s event: Wednesday, Oct. 1, will feature sales ridealongs and pre-conference clinics, and a networking reception. Plan for a full day of sessions and clinics on Thursday, including vendor exhibits during lunch and a social event. The conference will close Friday morning with more ridealongs, a tour or two, and additional learning and networking opportunities.
