DePaul Industries will open its eighth office this week in the Boise metropolitan area.
The expansion into the Boise market is in line with DePaul’s forward-thinking Strategic Plan 2011-2016, which aims for expansion into multiple additional markets and to nearly triple employment of people with disabilities by the end of fiscal year 2016.
“We know that the Boise area is a great fit for DePaul Industries’ flexible outsourcing model and specialties, including food processing,” DePaul Industries President & CEO Dave Shaffer said. “We’re excited to help leverage the local market to employ more people with disabilities.”
DePaul Industries is taking over a former Goodwill Staffing Services operation, which closed in July. Its experienced team, Regional Manager Marci Bailey and Account Manager Kit Schutte, both have more than 20 years of experience in the staffing industry and deep roots in Boise. The operation will offer general staffing services, including clerical and light industrial, to the entire Treasure Valley, and will be specifically looking to provide employment for individuals with disabilities and veterans.
“We’re pleased to be bringing DePaul’s unique business model to Boise and to be providing staffing solutions for our clients,” Bailey said.
DePaul Industries was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1971, and with the addition of Boise, has eight offices in five states.
