DePaul Industries Selected As A Finalist For Oregon Ethics In Business Award

March 30, 2011 News

DePaul Industries, the Northwest’s premier employer of people with disabilities, has been selected as a finalist in the not-for-profit category for the 2011 Oregon Ethics in Business Award. The Award recipient in each category will be announced on June 15, 2011 at this year’s banquet.

“We are honored to be considered as a finalist for this prestigious award,” states Dave Shaffer, Chief Executive Officer of DePaul Industries. “All of the organizations in the various categories have operated in a professional and highly ethical manner. DePaul Industries is so pleased to be included with such distinguished companies.”

The Oregon Ethics in Business Awards honor those organizations and individuals who have demonstrated ethical business practice in its broadest interpretation: in the workplace, the marketplace, the environment, and the community. The recipients of these awards will have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices. Partners in the Oregon Ethics in Business Award include the Rotary Club of Portland, Willamette University’s Atkinson School of Management MBA program, and the Portland Business Journal.
