DePaul Industries, the largest employer of people with disabilities in the Northwest, was recently ranked as the 8th Most Admired nonprofit in Oregon in a Portland Business Journal survey of 1,800 chief executive officers.
During the December 9 luncheon that honored the most admired companies, it was noted that 197 nonprofits throughout the state were nominated for the prestigious award.
“It is truly an honor to receive such widespread recognition from business leaders in Oregon,” stated Dave Shaffer, CEO of DePaul Industries. “We are a customer and mission driven organization whose vision is to change the landscape of employment for people with disabilities. On an annual basis, we employ over 2,000 such individuals.”
